Bitcoin is the most famous but there are others that can be easily traded.
They have grown massively and have much more potential for growth in the near future and beyond.
Bitcoin is selling for about $4000 each now but just a year ago, it was only about $1K.
Anybody game?
It has been rather volatile and can be short sold as well.
I would like to see up, down, big up, big down.
Maybe a time line for spikes.

I've been looking into them and bought a ilttle of one. I plan to invest more. Lots to research and understand, that's for sure. A couple of other people in APP have expressed interest and have gone into it more than I have. Also a little psi work has been done on crypto. I'm interested in a discussion group to explore them and guide trading them. However, so far one hasn't seemed to get going among a few of us who are separately interested. I don't want to start a group but would join one. If you are going to be in Vegas at APPFest we can discuss crypto there with anyone else who is interested.

Best way to truly learn it .. and can be free .. is join MeetUp. There are several MeetUps in my area where people gather together for Bitcoin technology at Panera or online for Q and A, introductions to newbies, etc.

I'm going to VEGAS!
I have some money in it before the jump in price this year and it has grown over 400%. It would be nice to have some advanced warning on the dips and peaks.
I work in IT so I have some understanding of encryption technology from a tech aspect.
Maybe something to talk about.
Thanks for the feedback.

I've beeing looking into some coins like XRP (ripple). I would not dare to invest in BTC as it's pretty high. It can easily dip from 4200 to 3000. So I decided I will stick to Forex.

You don't have to buy a complete Bitcoin to do any investing.
I have $100 in Bitcoin outside of other investments.
I have more in Etherium and Litecoin.
All of these have been up at least 400% since the beginning of the year. Past few weeks have not been so great but it has been a neat experiment for me that has made some money (or at least when I sell.)
They are all fairly volatile and highly speculative at this point. Perfect for ARV! News about any of the currencies causes large fluctuations in price and there is always some news about it. Recently, Amazon announced they will accept Bitcoin next year so that should cause a spike or maybe a good run up in value.

Yeh, that's right, abstract, lots of indicators show that bitcoin will easily hit 10K in short period of time and even 50k medium-term ... and blow away Dow Jones.
I thought FOREX is known to be highly volatile ... I don't see why you would consider Bitcoin to be much more of a risk, Igor? I must be over looking something. In fact, volatility is the fastest way to make money if, and only if, you know which way the tide is turning. That's where viewing would have the edge by pretty much having INSIDER knowledge from the matrix.

Even financial institutions like JPMorgan have dibs on BC. Eventually, it will be shut down by PAC20 governments, but such technology will eventually will be run by companies such as JPMORgan's chainlink (go figure) and regulated by the FED (go figure again). Another way in trying to squash the black market.

Been looking at Ripple since it was mentioned and it is currently selling for about $.24 up from 21 the other day.
It is difficult to set up a wallet and bring in funds.
I want to transfer some of my Etherium to it but I have to figure out how to get it there.
Maybe we have a new avenue here.

Basically crypto is the future that will easily become the international currency once centralized.

Hi AI,
Yes, it is difficult to set up and fund these. To buy a coin, you have to figure what exchange it is sold on, then join that. Some exchanges handle only a few coins, others many, but how trustworthy are they? Some are not sold on exchanges but through the site itself. So you have to find a set of trustworthy exchanges, esp. if you want 'underdog' altcoins. Then you need a wallet or more likely wallets. You expect delays of several kinds and even account closures. It is all highly uncertain, risky, from exchange to coin to app to blockchain alternative. But 'Blockchain, Inc.' may some day rival or even replace the dominant financial arrangements and has that huge potential and huge immediate upside for those who got in early on BTC and perhaps some other coins.
Well, I'm making some progress. Getting into more exchanges and buying a few coins.
Psiman - I've been reading articles about the future of crypto. Quite a range of opinions. About coopting, ignoring, crushing, supplanting, being undermined by, being replaced by crypto coins and programs of all of all kinds.
One thing I learned from looking into text expanders 20 years ago when they were relatively new - find out who the developers are and investors. In the case of text expanders, one of the developers, Jean Ichbiah, had invented the Ada computer language. That's all I needed to know in what was then a very thin field (few products, few developers). And his expander (Instant Text) is still the best and dominates the field last time I checked.
Those criteria at least provide a guideline. They may be useful in the end or they may not, in such an innovative, complex and superfast changing financial field.

I was looking for good articles on crypto to try to get a better sense of the future. Crypto is so new and changing so fast, it is hard to find solid substantive articles. Someone named Nat Eliason found that to be a problem and came up with this helpful list: www.nateliason.com/bitcoin-crypto-reading-list/

When it comes to trading and buying Bitcoins, Blockchain allows people to manage their crypto currencies with transparency and security because every time something is changed on that Blockchain, the ledger records the alteration for the entire public network to see. Visit www.hypersphere.ai for learn about it.
