A bit off-topic from precog, but this seems like a great opportunity to target collection of statistical data on water company's bottom line, and do a comparison of digging expenses and customer billing between companies who do, and don't use dowsing to locate underground pipes. Data collection in the field should be easy now that most have a smartphone for recording.
